Did you buy the program on the Mac App Store ?

Because it looks like a bug that has been fixed with the latest version.

If so, you should launch the Mac App Store to download the latest version of Coollector. After that, you shouldn't have that error again.

I don't understand why the program isn't allowed to access the movie database.

Is there something special with your account ? Is it an admin account ?

Normally, all this shouldn't be necessary.

What are the properties of the file ? Did the program ever work for you ?

The last solution that I can think of is to give you a promo code so you can download the program on the Mac App Store.

In fact, I would have liked the properties of the file

The app store version opens fine.
I did a scan of one folder (with movies) in downloads. I had to wait 5 seconds to choose the folder as program become unresponsive (no beach ball). It recognized 26 films and 2 not. I can´t switch to not recognized tab or use the scroll to check all the recognized movies. In fact, buttons don´t work in this window.
I can´t even close the window.

After force quit all went good.
Update: after importing the recognized ones i played a few seconds till program got unresponsive again. No beach ball, no message of unresponsive app in dock. Buttons just dont work.

You should call an exorcist, there's a devil in your computer

More seriously, I will try to reproduce those problems, but I doubt that I'll be able to. I think I would have noticed if there had been such problems on my computer.

As I expected, I can't reproduce your problems :worried:

The folder selector might be slow to show, sometimes. There's nothing I can do about it, it's a standard dialog managed by Mac OS X.

Yes, you'll have problems if your files have spanish titles. You'll have to set those files as "not recognized", and associate them manually by going to the movie page and clicking the icon "play". This fall, we will have a spanish database, and the automatic scan will work better with the spanish titles.

Holy cow! I've never heard of anyone having such a bad experience.

I'm very sorry. I would help you if I knew what I could do.

I understand that you can't use our program. Really sorry for the time you've lost :(

Thank you for your feedback.

I don't understand what's wrong with your computer. Coollector is really the only program you have problems with ?
