I disagree with this one! I'm a Kubrick fan. It's too extreme to consider those movies as a trilogy!

Please don't go too far and stick to the sequels that are obvious sequels. If we do too much, the database will turn into a mess.

If we get too extreme, most users simply won't find the movies they search. I prefer not to signal some sequels and keep the database convenient to use.

I've seen those 3 movies. I had never known that they formed a so-called "Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy", and I doubt that many users know it either.

It's another case where it would be too confusing to rename the movies. Obvious sequels, only obvious sequels ;)

I don't agree with you.If the title is "The Cornetto 1: Shaun of the Dead (2004)"
and anyone types "Shaun of the Dead",he will get it.

Of course you would find it if you searched it. But most of the time, what you do is look at a list of movies.

And I feel uncomfortable if I read "The Cornetto 1: Shaun of the Dead" or "Antiwar 1: Paths of Glory". Either I feel it's a bug, or I feel it's ugly, or I don't even recognize the movie.

"Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy" and " Antiwar Trilogy" are great video pack names. But it would be too messy to append that to each movie title.

I really don't like it, and I'm sure that the average user is like me.

We have to weight the pros and cons. Sometimes it's great to add sequel information, and sometimes it's... overkill.

My searching for the trilogies is over.

From time to time, I might not apply one of your suggested changes if it seems overboard. But please do keep suggesting missing alternate names if you find some.

I much appreciate the many things that you contribute to the program, thank you very much! :friends:
