Titanic (1953 version) tt0046435 (blu-ray version w/ UPC#024543805489) appears to be a cover for Shawshank Redemption
Thanks.

Currently, I don't have an easy way to replace a video cover (it's more complex than you might think).

Tomorrow I'll program something to make it possible.

in a topic you mentioned that you prefer to have no cover at all instead of having a generic or pack cover for a movie, but the '30-'40s are full of "covers" like this one:
Get That Girl (1932) [0060760].jpg
Gold (1932) [0099961].jpg

or even this type:
Honor of the Mounted (1932) [0047389].jpg

it's not better to not have at all covers like this one?

Indeed, I don't illustrate a movie by a movie pack.

Those posters are correct to me. They are the cover of real DVDs.

I think what you mean by "generic" is posters like this one:

http://cinema.theiapolis.com/movie-2NN2/get-that-girl/

There are a few movie sites that when they don't have a picture to illustrate a movie they generate one automatically, and when you make a picture search, you can stumble on one of those pseudo-posters.

This one is fine too. It's a real DVD cover.

damn :cry2: we have different tastes.
covers like this one Gold (1932) [0099961].jpg i can generate in photoshop in no time and fill all our missing movie covers; even more, i can fill all covers to have all the very same design line.

this one Honor of the Mounted (1932) [0047389].jpg is a very same photoshop design but more acceptable,

anyway, as my time and patience permit it, ill look for the real covers of them ( you already received few of them)

When a DVD exists, it's not our role to judge if its cover looks good or not.

Except that it's an existing DVD cover.

Absolutely, if a better poster can be found, it's great. But otherwise, a video cover will be ok, even if it's ugly.

Indeed, thank you very much for your help!

real or not, covers like that one was generated by lazyness, do you use calibre? and im sure other softwares have similar options too. there if you want to have an unique design line for all your covers, then you can generate them with batch command or individually, and i'm sure these ones had the same fate. And i fight against them :shout:

No, I don't want to generate my own posters. I illustrate movies with a real poster or with a real DVD cover.

A DVD cover is still a real DVD cover even when it's just some text

Those posters are fine, but you have some older version on your disk. To force the picture to be downloaded again, you have to press the F5 key ;)
