would suggest adding the country and the Genre so the database could be searched easily for whatever you need.

You can make appear the country and genre filters (as well as many others) by clicking the button "Add/Remove Filters".

This app is really great!
for years I've used an archaic one called MEd's movieDB,written in Java, it was the only one able to scan my disks and make good guesses, but had huge parts missing and is discontinued since long.
I've tested yours yeaars ago but I didn't fit my needs, dont remember why.
Now seems perfect, installed yesterday, keep discovering
on Mac seems working better, but it's great the double paltform

I'll try to find an automation so that upon finding the movie on imdb, the id is copied to the clipboard, you did the automation to the app!

What I don't like is when people search the IMDb to unearth movies that are missing from our database and request them even if they don't care at all about those obscure movies. Do please know that I'm not like that. I was using EMDB and own an unhealthy amount of movies and series My database got corrupted several times, and then I finally found your app. Now I'm importing everything, and that will take quite some time (that is why they now all start with "A").
