Coollector isn't a reference database like the IMDb, it's just a tool to help you track what you've seen, what you own, and help you decide what to watch. Yes, the database is missing a lot of obscure movies and that's on purpose. The database is already a big download, and it would be stupid to grow it unnecessarily. Even more importantly, adding movies that nobody cares about would suck my time (in case you don't know, I'm a single developper, please keep it in mind) and prevent me from adding more popular movies or improving the app with new features. If this is an issue for you as you need a lot of obscure movies to be added to the database, then Coollector isn't the right app for you and I'll gladly refund you if you've bought a contributor code. Info: Why we don't add movies automatically from the IMDb.

New: Before requesting a movie to be added, it's now possible to make sure that it's really missing from our database. Simply paste the IMDb Id of the movie into Coollector (for example tt0109161), and the program will locate the movie or confirm that it's missing. If the movie is in our database but you couldn't find it because it's incorrectly named, you're welcome to report the error on this forum and we'll rename the movie.
