4.4.9 Didn't solve the problem
Tue May 26, 2015 9:59 pm
Both versions contain the problem -
Can you give access to earlier versions ?
So I can pinpoint exactly when the problem has manifested itself for the first time.

You hadn't updated since such a long time?
When you run version 4.4.6, does the title bar say "Coollector Movie Database 4.4.6"?

Here's 3 months old version 4.4.3:

In Version 4.4.3 The problem Doesn't manifest itself.
Can You give access to versions 4.4.4 & and 4.4.5 ?

When I ran 4.4.6. The title bar says "Coollector Movie Database 4.4.6" - why is this a surprise ? what should it has said ?
I didn't update what for such a long time ?
The software is updated since I've the update switch on.
My personal database is updated by using the IMDB id.
The reason for my complaint is that it is easier to use the movie's name rather than it's IMDB's Id.

I just wanted to make sure that you tested the older versions correctly.

It's weird that you didn't have problems with versions 4.4.6 and 4.4.7.

Do you mean that you didn't notice the bug because you didn't use the title search?

Finally I've an answer.
The problem first manifested itself in 4.4.6.
I had problems with earlier versions but I didn't complain about since I hoped that someone else will report the problems and they would get solved.
I did notice the bug earlier as I wrote in previous sentence hoped that someone else will report it.
currently I found the workaround with the imdb id but I'dd rather use the search as I used it before, since it is quite annoying to search first for the movie in imdb and then copy paste the id into the program.

Here's a new version to test:
http://www.coollector.com/Coollector.test.exeHow does it work?

Thank you very much.
Works like a charm.
How have you solved my non replicable problem ?

Really
eorenstain wrote:How have you solved my non replicable problem ?
Well, I've reviewed all the changes that I made with version 4.4.6 and removed the part that seemed the more related to your problem.
But I still don't know why you have problems with this part, and it's a part that I really need to add.
I will send you new versions to test, until I succeed to make this part work for you too...

This one works too.

Test3 also works
