Hi Hector,
when I try to download netflix database I always get the "
please select a country" window and it has blank fields instead of showing countries to choose from, so basically you cant choose any field, and when i try to click "ok" the whole program freezes. could you please help.

I've checked my code and I don't understand how this kind of bug could happen.
Are you sure you're installing the latest version 4.11.5?

Yes i have the latest version installed. It is strange since when this feature was released i was able to download the netflix database with no problems. But a couple of months ago I started having this problem and I assumed that it was just a bug that will get fixed soon, but apparently it is something with my pc. I tried to uninstall and install the program again but nothing changed. I even tried deleting the files in the documents folder which has the database (of course I have a backup) but still even with a clean installation the same problem happened again.

I'm very sorry for your troubles. The app isn't supposed to ask for a country on startup, I need to track down why this happens. Please run this modified version:

I've just released version 4.11.6. Please update to that version and tell me if it has problems or not. If it has problems, you can use the modified version until I find a way to fix this bug.
You are not supposed to select a country with each startup. With the modified version, what happens if you select the menu "Tools->Netflix catalog->Remove Netflix catalog" then close the program... are you asked to select a country on the next startup?

The latest version actually worked for me with no problems just like the modified version.
I tried to remove the netflix catalog and it did ask me to select a country the next time I opened it, but without removing the netflix catalog it won't ask that question.

This is not normal. There's still a problem... You shouldn't be forced to select a Netflix catalog. Could you please tell me what messages you get from the modified version, is it the same as the last time?

I had come to thing that the program asked you for a country automatically on startup, and looking at my code it seemed completely impossible... But now I realize that maybe there was a misunderstanding.

Are you saying that you're asked for a country, but only when you ask the program to download a Netflix catalog? In that case everything's fine and there's no bug. Do you confirm?

Yes I think you did misunderstood me because it only show up after deleting the netflix database, I already wrote in my previous messages that without deleting the netflix database the country select window won't show up, anyway thanks and sorry if I didn't explain myself more

It does show up only if you select "Tools->Netflix catalog->Download Netflix catalog", doesn't it?
You can use the app without any catalog selected, can't you?
