so the scan wrongly associates it with the other one made by Robert Zemeckis the same year

I saw you already have an AKA for "Pinocchio [Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio] (2022)" but problem is not solved, for some reason Robert Zemeckis' Pinocchio (2022) is still being assigned to del Toro's as shown in the capture, what a weird behavior.

Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio is more popular than Robert Zemeckis' Pinocchio, so it's normal that Pinocchio (2022) gets associated with Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio.

There's no renaming that I can do, there's no algorithm tweaking that I can do either.

It's unfortunate but the only option you have is to associate the file manually by clicking "associate a new video file to this movie".
