Since The Betas are being updated constantly, I've just started a general discussion thread rather than post under each new Beta.

I've attached a screen of an error message I get from time to time when rezising the window. This has occured in all the Skinned Betas so far.

I have some other inquiries since there doesn't seem to be any general discussions about the skinning system.

Just wondering about customising other grid font colours , such as director, character, starring, story etc. There's no mention of it in upcoming Betas.

Also, the add media/ DVD info pop up has blue borders and font that can't be changed.

Wonderful, I'm glad that you have this bug :P

Really, it's a bug that I've been chasing for months, as I've been told it happens to some users, even with the normal version of the program.

You'd be my super-hero if you found a way to reproduce this bug at will !!!

Indeed, I haven't finished to identify all the fonts and font colors that must be customized. There are the fonts that you say, there are also several fonts in the videos boxes, and there are probably others.

Yep, forgot to mention it, but those icons obviously need to be redone.

Have you started creating your own skins ?

I understand that you are very limited by all the things that don't work yet.

In a couple of days, all the background and border settings should work. That should be a little more fun :D

Same here, just taking it easy for now. I'm super busy too anyway. Will keep testing on my current skin.

I've made some basic skins, but just waiting until all basic features are implemented.

I'm just wondering if there will be an option for customising each panel. As in the left side and right side each having different backgrounds rather than just one panel doubled up.

I've managed to reproduce the error at will. It's when I resize the window dragging it inwards from the right.

I've attached a screenshot.

You have to use "Fit across panels" with a picture whose left side and right side are different.

It's official, you're my super-hero !
I'm even surprised, because I had tried for a long time to reproduce this bug, and now I can do it very easily

No worries. Glad to help. :)

Ah, got it now. 50/50 split screen backgrounds for panels. :D

I have another question and an error..

On the screenshot, I was wondering what setting allows us to change the colour around the video cell. I've tried all settings and I can't get it to change.

Also, in the same screen, you can see in grid 2, when changing the style, the lettering gets cut off.

It's currently not possible. Tomorrow ;)

Indeed, it's a bug. There are many others.

First, I'll implement all the skin settings. Then, I'll fix the imperfections.

Not a problem. :D

The only reason I asked about the colour change, is because although light blue is the default colour at the moment, that cell colouring is grey in some of the sample skins.
I thought it might have been possible for us to change it too.

Me too I thought that this setting was working, but visibly it got broken at some point.
