Have you tried the button "Export this list" from the filtered search?

If the filters are not enough to select a group of movies, you could use the tags feature.

Coollector has a lot of features to satisfy everyone, but of course you don't have to use them all. Personally I don't use tags because filters are good enough for my needs, but I know that tags are very popular among many users.
