Scanning for subtitles

Hi Hector & Coollector Fam :hi: ,

I have a bunch of films that have subtitles as separate files, yet named just like the films, only .srt instead of .mp4.

I'm wondering if there is any way of scanning and associating subtitles, much like when I search for films.

The scanning algorithm scans only video files. Srt files are discarded. What would be the point of scanning them? They're not playable...

You have a point, they don't play unless selected after the film has started.
My thoughts were, a large amount of my films have the .srt files, and because I've named the in the same way as the films, they come up in the Film & TV. It'd just be nice to see which don't so I can find the correct files for them.

I'm afraid the vast majority of our users would be pissed if the srt files were scanned. It would be a terrible mess.
