Newbie to software

I just downloaded the software. The reason that I came looking for this this,
is that last weekend, August 14-16, my external hard drive with all the movies that i
had downloaded to watch crashed. I lost everything. So I went looking for a way to catalog
what I have and what I had looked for. I am looking forward to being able to know what I have.
I also have a huge TV series collection, and this will work to know what I have and what I want.
