Have you replaced all the "" by "/" ?
With great care. :D

I still can't get the forward // stroke to give me a path to the drive. This might be a local issue. I'll experiment as time permits. Again, not that important since the backward \\ stroke is working fine using the IP addresses which was the main goal.

Yes, that fixed the Cntl-L routine. It's working fine.

Upon exiting, Coollector does not save the changes from a global replace. It is saving my individual edits to the location field. Your thoughts?

I'm confused again... I thought the IP address used the forward stroke, like //192.168.1.76/... :?

Well, that's how I started the thread. Me asking if we could enter //192.168.1.76/... into the Location field. The reason I asked for that is because I knew that forward stroke worked inside of a Windows shortcut using the IP address of the NAS.

However, I think Windows doesn't like to use that forward stroke when it thinks it is looking for a file path.

But what I did figure out in all this is that I can use the back stroke with the IP address of the NAS (e.g., \\192.168.1.76\...) and Coollector can interpret that just fine. So it accomplishes my goal of using the static IP address and avoiding the use of not-so-static drive letters.

So I say, declare VICTORY :V: and roll the CNTL-L functionality into the next release as-is!

Great work, as always, (Cool) Hector. Thanks!!!
