Post subject:  search suggestions in filtered search

I use the filter -detail- in filtered search to locate specific types of movies. I use this box for mentioning the subject of the movies rather then the genre. however while my movies are limited to a few subjects whenever i try to use the filter i get many suggestions which bear no results. i would like to remove these suggestions as all they do is make it harder to find my movies

it would be great if i could somehow delete them there must be close to thirty

thank you

btw i love the software

I understand your request.

Those values are the default values. It's easier for me to display them without checking if they're actually used or not, but I'll try to arrange that.

I put it on my todo list, but I can't give you any date, I'm really busy right now.

Hi paesgeld,

As a temporary measure you could add your information as "1: YourDetailType", "2: YourDetailType", etc. The numbers will force your custom details to sort to the top of the list. Then you don't have to scroll through the default detail values.

No, no. No temporary measure.

I'll add this feature probably with the next version. I've thought about it, and now I know how I'll do it.

It'll be a nice improvement :D

With version 2.78, this behaviour has been added to the filters "details" and "media type".

In the future, I'll probably add this behaviour to other filters ("country", etc...).
