Since the substitute movie image is already on my pc I expected the waiting process would be skipped. :worried:

I asssume you have a logical reason.
Can you please explain how this works. please :)

We don't have an image for the movie 1977 (2007).

You don't have an image on your hard drive.

Coollector tries to find an image on the internet.

So the loading time is the time it takes to check for a image online then when it doesn't find one -> load the replacement...

edit: it seems to take the same time as downloading an xxxxxxxx.jpg image. does it actually download that image each time?

Yes, Coollector talks to the server.

What replacement ? If there's no image, Coollector displays a gray movie reel.

There are 3 stages:

1) communicate with the server

2) download the image if there's one.

3) react to the end of transmission event, and redraw the grid cell.

When there's no image, only stage 2 is skipped.

If you mean the movie reel image, of course not, that image is hard coded inside Coollector.

No problem at all. Your interest is flattering. And you're helping more often than not.
