would it ever be possible to have a feature in the program that just picks a random title among all the films? It would be a fun way to learn about a film you have never heard before but that might interest you. I know it works for books with me, and the imdb random title feature is lame as it just picks the films everyone knows about already. |

My plan is much more ambitious than that, not random at all. It's a system that will predict how much you'll like a movie before you even watch it. In a few months, I will add a new feature to post your coollection on the net, and in the background I'll analyze all that anonymous data. The program will identify the coollections that are the closest from you taste, and suggest how you'll like the movies that you haven't rated yet. The predicted smiley icon would flash on and off. And there'd be a prediction grid listing all the predictions, from the best rating to the worst rating. |
