Really stupid question, but... is it necessary to have 2 seperate folders in 'My Documents' ? There's one with databases and images; the other folder contains backups, skins, tmp and the mycoollection file.

Is it necessary for the program to have these folders or can I move all files in one folder?

Yes, it's for the case a computer has several user accounts. One folder is common to all the users, and each user has a second folder.

This folder is common to all the users. When a user updates the database, it's updated for everyone. When a user downloads an image, it's available to everyone. It would be a waste of disk space to have several copies of the database and the images.

This folder is personal. Each user has his own (his own coollection, his own selection of skins).
