Do you mean clicking the tab "Movie Title Search"?

I've tried that and the program doesn't crash on my computer.

Are you talking about version 4.4.7? Which version are you using? PC? Mac? Mac App Store?

Oops, I forgot to update the homepage, thank you for making me notice.

Anyway, there's no need for a download link if you update the program with the menu "Tools->Update".

Thank you. :)

But I prefer the download process because is it faster than update process.

I suppose that if there had been such a serious bug, other users would have reported it by now.

My guess is that your movie database got damaged somehow. It's easy to fix: you just have to install the program again. No need to uninstall anything, just install again and everything should be fine.

Please let me know how it goes.

I just downloaded the update today and it also crashes when I choose movie title search. It crashes every time I do this. I found a workaround that prevents the program from crashing. If I choose barcode search just before I choose movie title search then it doesn't crash when I choose movie search.

I tried downloading the program from this website and reinstalling the program, but it still crashes if I choose movie title search before I choose barcode search.

The program never crashed before the update.

Thank you very much for your feedback!

Do you have a Mac or a PC?

Are you in single or dual pane mode?

Please guyz, I need more information to fix this bug. I don't understand why I can't reproduce it. I need more info about your setup.

I had the same problem (movie and person search) with the latest version. I solved it by unticking the "automatically download updates when the program starts" . I attach you two print screens with the bug report and one to show the box I unticked. I run windows 7.

Wow! You're heaven sent, thank you very much!

The program didn't crash for me because I had unticked the automatic update. Now I can reproduce and fix the bug!

What a tricky bug

Please replace your current Coollector.exe with this fixed one:

http://www.coollector.com/Coollector.exe

I will release a new version as soon as possible (probably on Monday).

I apologize for the inconvenience :(
