Back when I downloaded one of the first releases of the program, and when I clicked the add button, it pulled up the usual menu

Well, under the Episodes category I was somehow able to type "various episodes" in that box since I only had a scattered collection of a series, after updating, I noticed that when I add a series and have "-unspecified-" selected and click apply, the summary says "various episodes" still. This has been the same way for every update since.

I don't have the problem when I select options such as "all" or type in a number, just when I select "-unspecified-"

Any ideas?

That seems perfectly normal to me. And are you sure that something changed about it ?

When you edit the details of a series DVD, you can say which seasons are on it. "Season 1", or "Season 2", or "Season 1 & 2", or "All" for the complete series. If the DVD doesn't hold an entire season, you can still list the episodes. And if you specify nothing, no season nor episode information, that means that the DVD hold various (unspecified) episodes.

What's the problem ?

But it's not a problem, it's normal. Sorry you get confused by the words.

You can specify the seasons contained in the video, or you can specify the episodes contained in it. If you don't specify neither the seasons nor the episodes, that means the video contains various episodes, we don't know which ones.

Would you prefer if it displayed "unspecified episodes" ? Do you think it's important that I change it ?
