Indexing

Is it possible to add an index number to movies that I add to "owned videos". This would allow me to more easily find the disk later.

You can use the location field when adding a video. It can be used in any way you like

Thank you very much, kakashi. You're absolutely right.
The location field is intended especially for that. You can input just the number index, or you can input anything that will help you to locate your video.

And if you notice that, for instance, video #125 is missing from you shelves, you can make a filtered search to find out which movie it was. The "location" filter is one of the additional filters => you must click the "more filters" button.

Thanks, that's exactly what I need. It just wasn't obvious to me, looking at the database screen & help page.
