Mac import problem

Hello

I downloaded your program last night on my Vista pc and it seems to work. I am still trying to work my way around the program, but "most" of my movies imported correctly using the scan feature.

Today, I downloaded the Mac version for my 10.6.8 Mac Pro. Every time I attempt to scan a directory, be it a networked drive or local folder, I get an error message:

Failed to open "/volumes/usbdisk1/movies/FORIEGN".
Scanning will skip this directory.

Can not find any thing similar in the forum, so I am posting. Any ideas?

Thanks!

This message appears when the program was refused the authorization to access the content of a directory.

I just tried with Snow Leopard 1.6.8 and Coollector 3.19.9, and don't have any problem to scan my drives.

Did you install Coollector in the "Applications" folder ? Are you admin on your computer ? Do you run Coollector in a restricted mode ?

I tried with the version you can get from our site. Did you get the program from the Mac App Store ?

I downloaded from your site and then had to update once installed. I am logged is as admin and the program is installed my Applications folder. I am not running in restricted mode. Can not tell what ver of coollector i am running, but my updater says I have the latest.

It's displayed in the titlebar => "Coollector Movie Database version 3.19.9".

Then it should be 3.19.9.

Anyway, it's probably the same with all the versions. The afp vs smb seems to be a good lead.

Yes, my version is 3.19.9

I will experiment with smb and post my results. Thanks for checking into this!
