Re: Looking for beta testers to try app's redesign

After doing a check on some clean OS Versions, the mouse buttons behave different using
OSX 10.11 (El Captain) witch I'm using and on MacOS 10.12 (Sierra).

On MacOS 10.13 (High Sierra) both buttons work the same.

Probably Apple changed something in their mouse drivers. :worried:

Thank you for the clarification! El Capitan is quite old, so I won't bother with that issue.

I'm noticing that when I do a filtered search, either movies or series, that my owned do not show the title in Yellow instead of Blue whereas the current version does, this is helpful when the filtered search is set to Owned or Not.

While testing this I became aware of a feature that would be extremely helpful if you could put it on your list for a future version. The ability to Sort filtered results, maybe a right click context menu.

Sort by
Title
Genre
IMDB Rating
Personal Rating
Etc.....

UPDATE: after closing the beta version and going back to the current version adding 2 new series to owned then going back to the beta version to check, the titles of owned movies are now appearing in yellow, not sure what that was but it appears to be ok now.

This beta testing is long finished. I've now edited the title to make it clear.

Probably the beta had a bug, nevermind, what's important is that the current version doesn't have it.

By the way you must have installed a skin because in my case the owned titles are displayed in red.

It's already possible to sort the results, I'm suprised you haven't seen it. At the bottom of the list you can select the "order". You can also adjust the layout style and the thumbnails size.

For most searches you can select the order, except for a few that are linked to a special order. For example the series airing new episodes are listed by airing date.

"Personal Rating" isn't an order that is available, but if you list your rated movies, they'll be ordered by your personal rating. There'll still be an order that you can set which determines how the movies with the same rating will be ordered.

Nope, don't know how it would work.

We have a "random" order which has little interest now but will become quite handy in combination with a new feature that I'm about to release soon ;)

Thanks for the info Hector, Only had your Gem a few days, still picking up on things, I did miss the sort order selection at the bottom.
