Hector, can we now edit the text file to accept the values "-any-" and "-not-" ?

If so can you give an example ?

Thanks

Hector,
I've been experimenting with the SEARCHES.TXT file in an attempt to add some "any" as well as "or not" filters. Trying to decipher the structure I was going to add a section titled "Video Media Type" thinking under that heading I could add Video Media Type:-any video media type-. Then I wasn't sure that would work after I used the interface to add another filter for a tag I have, called "Watch Que", and noticed upon examination of the SEARCHES.TXT file that my filter was added under the "SERIES" section even though my interface filter, when making the "Watch Que" search option, was set to -movies and series-, furthermore there is no appearance of a "MOVIES" section. So instead of trying to reverse engineer the file could you provide a list of all the possible sections that could be included in the searches.txt file ?

Here's the right way to do it:

1) you create a search with all the filters that you want.
2) you set all the filters with a value, no matter what value.
3) you save that search, giving it any name you want and putting it in any folder you want.
4) you close Coollector then open SEARCHES.TXT to edit it.
5) you locate the search and replace all the values with -any- or -not- (-not- will only work with the genres and the tags).
6) you save your changes and open Coollector again.

This method works very well, I've been doing some testing and so far everything works like a charm. This is an AWESOME feature Hector. KUDOS my friend, very well done. :yahoo:

The new beta seems to stop highlighting the text of films or series you own in red. Is that deliberate?

Sorry I can't reproduce that issue, on my computer they're still highlighted in red.

Out of interest, is this still in your mind Beta?

It works fine for me and has all along.

Bug Spotted:

When using the "Movie Titles" search, the search tool locks up after using it. You cannot erase or add any further text after searching for something.

The ESC key does work to delete the last word, but I can confirm that the backspace key doesn't work to delete the last letter. I will fix that, thank you.
