Yes, I need to fix this problem. For that, I have 4 options:
1) modify the program to check the presence of the small and big files, which means more disk access, knowing that disk access is what slows down the program the most
2) recommend on the zip download page to not download a mix of small and big images.
3) make your deleter program available on the zip download page, and asking the users to use it if they've downloaded a mix of big and small images.
4) handle everything from Coollector itself: download the zip files, extract them, and delete some files if necessary. It'll be the ultimate solution, the most convenient for the user, and I'll do it someday, but unfortunately not right now.
Since 4) won't happen soon, I think that 3) is the best temporary option.
