To reproduce.
1. Map a network location to a drive leter in Windows (7 32-bit)
2. Download and run portable installer
3. Mapped networkdrive is hidden, and cannot be used for installation

This is a bit annoying, as I use a lot of portable programs mapped this way on multiple computers....

Boring workaround: Install to local disk, copy to network location....

I tried and I have no issue (tested under Windows XP and Windows Vista).

Have you looked if your drive was listed under "My Network Places" ?

Anyway, thanks for reporting anytime you think you've found a bug
