Can I request a feature to have the option of filtering movies by multi-genre.
for example, if I am looking for movies like "eternal sunshine of the spotless mind", I can filter on Romans&Sci-Fi

currently, I am not able to do that as I have to either select on genre at at time.

can you add the ability to search the movie description, for example, what if i want to search for a movie in its description that have "time travel"
that would be a great feature to have

one last request, can we add a filter for year range, for example, what if I am interested in movies from 1990 to 2005. can we have a filter for "year range".

Dual genres and year ranges are already available. Just press 'Add/Remove Filters' then add 'genre2' and 'year2'

As for searching the description, that isn't possible at the moment and might not be feasible but there is something similar that you might be interested in. Tagging should become available at some point which would make it possible to look for movies tagged 'time-travel'.

You can already make a multi-genre search. Simply click the button "Add/Remove Filters" to display the filters "genre" and "genre2".



It's already possible using the filters "year" and "year2".



Sorry, I don't plan to add such a filter, because it'd be very slow to search all the descriptions, and also because the description isn't a reliable way to find the "time travel" movies.

It's not really an alternative, but do you know that you can tag a movie with the tag "time travel" then use the tag filter to list all the movies with the tag "time travel"? To tag a movie, click the green "No Tag" which is displayed after the movie genres and countries.

What do you mean "should become available at some point"? This feature is already available.

lol, vague response because I wasn't completely sure. I haven't used coollector much since the last time I've updated. I was gonna look through the Versions History again after a short ride but you beat me to it
