I have been using this program for some time and do like using it.

I wanted to know if it would be possible to add a few more filters.
(apologies if such a request has been made before by another user, as i have not gone through the entire forum yet)

Firstly, I would enjoy having to sort movies by name, ascending or descending. (not restricted to a particular alphabet).

Secondly: there are filters available within the program to sort movies by the year. I am hoping a new filter can sort movies by their release date without being constricted to a specific decade; for e.g. sorting all movies by earliest to latest (or vice versa) from (say) 1920 to current year.

At the bottom right of the list, you can choose in which order the movies are displayed. You can order by title, but only in descending order.



I'll probably make it possible someday, but it's not a priority.

Could you find it in your heart to make it a priority? Pretty please?

It's a very old thread, this feature has been added a long time ago.

There's a Year filter, and there's also a Year2 filter. By using both, you can set the starting and the ending of the year range you want.

I mean more breakdown. I have 3,000 movies and don't memorize their titles. When I want to watch a movie i like to peruse them in groups of "a's" "b's" and c's etc. to chunk the collection into smaller groups rather than having to starting from year and having to scroll and scroll and scroll to get to the middle

Please state more precisely what you want, because I'm not sure I understand.

You can list the results in alphabetical order by changing "ordered by" at the bottom of the grid.

If you want to scroll faster to some location, you can grab the thumb of the scrollbar.
