I'm confused, why are Gimme Shelter, The last Waltz, Woodstock, and 10mph in there then?
For the moment, Coollector is a movie database.
It's true that there are a few documentaries in our database, the same way that some documentaries are shown in theaters.
But the last thing we want is to be inundated with documentaries, or music concerts, or porn videos.
So we have to draw a line. It's not always easy, and our decisions might sometimes seem unfair.
You must realize that if we allow all the documentaries in the world, we'll end up with a junk database filled with Jane Fonda's yoga videos. Is that really what you want ?
"The Song Remains The Same" is clearly a filmed concert. We don't want our movie database filled with all the concerts in the world.
In the future, we'll have a separate database for the documentaries, and another one for the music concerts, etc...
The database of documentaries won't have genres like "western" or "musical". Instead, it'll have genres like "history", "science", "travel", etc...
Everything will be much better organized with separate databases.
Of course, I understand that your problem is that those other databases don't exist yet, and you can't manage all your videos. But you have to either be patient, or move to another program. Because it's out of question that we let the movie database become a complete mess.
Fair enough, thanks for clearing it up.
