What is it that you would like to do, but can't do ?

If you want to view the summary of each episode, you can click the "TV.com" icon or the "IMDb" icon.

If want to input the DVD you own of the 4th season, you can set the "seasons" field to "4". Our database of existing videos already has many videos of all the seasons. You can use them as a starting point to input the videos you own, for instance changing the language if needed.

It's not "ghost", it's "ghosts" (plural).

I have a movie, it's a Disney special edition that puts two movies together...it's called the "Classic Caballeros Collection" and isn't listed on IMDB. It is on Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Saludos-Amigos-Th ... 241&sr=1-1) and has tons of information (ASIN: B0012RLXBU) but since I can't get an IMDB number, how am I supposed to request this?

I have continued to be impressed by your database and the encouraging responses to your 'contributors'.
You may have been asked about these before but I couldn't find the requests or your responses.

.1. TV Series:
When you list 'Series' could you list them as 'TV Series - Year 1" 'TV Series - Year 2" etc for the number of series that actually ran. This is valuable for at any time I may have only part of a series and would love to have a listing of the missing years.

.2. Series [general]:
It would be helpful when you indicate 'series' to add 'TV Series', 'Mini-Series' etc as there is a significant difference between such items.

.3. Text Box:
I understand why it is not practicable to allow your members to add their own movies - your answer made sense. However, would it be possible to allow the opening of a 'Text Box' with each of your listings. This would be valuable to make SHORT notes- re:Original Source and Authors, Re-make details, and may even be a solution to my TV Series [1 above] issue.

Your video is a pack of 2 movies.

Those 2 movies, "Saludos Amigos" and "The Three Caballeros", are already in our database.

But the 2-pack video isn't (yet) in our database of existing videos, because we currently have a problem with adding new packs to our database of existing videos, problem that I need to fix as soon as possible.

Nevermind, you can still enter your video from scratch, even if it's a pack of movies. Here's how:

Even if a series has 12 seasons, there's only 1 entry in our database of movies & series (not 12 entries). It's on the video level that we handle the details about the seasons. It's logical, as a same video can hold several seasons, for instance seasons 1-3, or even the complete series. There's a "Seasons" field to describe the videos in our database of existing videos, or the videos that you own.


In fact, we show a red label "series" only for the TV series in the sense that you mean (with seasons, etc...). And since the genre has "TV", yes, it's a TV series.

The mini-series, we rather consider them as movies, and we don't display the red label "series". Because a mini-series is no more than a TV movie that was too long to be broadcasted in one time, and so was split into several episodes. A mini-series will simply have "TV" as genre, and a length of several hours.


Yes, we plan to add a "personal notes" field, and also a "personal review" field.
